A Little About Me...

Originally from Cocoa Beach, Florida, and by way of several states and a couple European countries, I now live and work in Raleigh, North Carolina. I am a long-time (20+ years) professional photographer now working as mostly a freelancer on editorial assignments, internet content as well as some fine art commissions as well as self-directed projects aimed towards eventual publicatilon in fine-art book form. I specialize in fashion/glamour, landscape work as well as sports and other action photography. My goal is to be bold, original, fresh and to maintain the highest artistic value possible all the while. Anyone can take a picture these days, but only a select few can create a worthwhile piece of art.

It's my belief that any photoshoot is a collaboration between the model and the photographer at the very least, and the best way to get a great collaboration is to have a welcoming and fun atmosphere in the room. To do that, I ensure that the models str at ease and that they are comfortable, so they can do what they do best and enjoy it at the same time. Maybe that's some good music, or maybe it's as simple as a bottle of cool water nearby. Whatever it is, so long as it is reasonable, we'll make it happen.

In other words, let's make this fun.

Bottom line is this: I can be creative because I have chosen to not chase the advertising or magazine markets' whims, and that said, my work is not cookie-cutter or boring.
